The Rat King
Scientific illustration submited to the 13th edition of Illustraciencia contest
The "rat king" is a tail-crossing phenomenon by which, with the intervention of dirt, excrement or blood, these rodents remain fused together at the tail. The purpose of this illustration is to represent the morphology of the rat by phases or layers, relying on the radial scheme offered by the phenomenon, which allows to illustrate the hair, skin, muscles, organs and skeleton in a sequential, detailed and clear way.

The first recopilatory zine of the EL BERTEDERO comic strips about a racoon (Meri's character), a rat (Rodas' character), a mouse (Carlota's character), a beetle (3Ays' character), a magpie (Carlota's character) and a possum (my character) and their aventures on the landfill where they live.
